WHAT IS SPRAY DRYING BY ATOMIZATION?

It is the process of creating extremely small droplets of a solution or suspension and introducing into a hot air current which dehydrates and spray dries the feed droplets instantly.  This spray drying process provides a number of advantages when compared with other drying technologies.

SPRAY DRIED PRODUCTS INCLUDE:

DAIRY PRODUCTS: Whole milk, skim milk, buttermilk, serum, cream, cream for ice cream, baby food, diet food, malted milk, cream cheese, caseinates, chocolate milk, milk substitutes

CEREALS: Glucose, malt extract, starches, gluten, protein and soybean milk, carbohydrates, maltodextrine.

COFFEE, TEA: Natural, instant and substitutes

PHARMACEUTICAL PRODUCTS and NUTACEUTICAL PRODUCTS: Vitamins, enzymes, antibiotics, sterile human serum, dextran, liver extract, gums. Natural and synthesized actives.

PLASTICS: Emulsions of polyvinyl acetate and chlorides of polythene, melamine, formaldehyde, products of urea and phenol, acrylic resins.

DETERGENTS: For delicate clothes and washing machines (beads), washing powder (by means of cooling by atomization).

FERTILIZERS, HERBICIDES AND INSECTICIDES.

FERMENTATION PRODUCTS:  such as enzymes.

CERAMICS: Clay for kitchen and bathroom appliances, floors, walls, chinaware, kaolin, enamel, porcelains.

INORGANIC CHEMICALS: Aluminum, sulfur, arsenic, barium, boron, bromine, carbon, chlorine, fluorine, hydroxides, iodine, magnesium, molybdenum, nitrogen, oxides, phosphorus, titanium, tungsten, uranium, zirconium.

ORGANIC CHEMICALS:

1.    Organic acids: amino acids, salicylic acid, citric acid, maleic acid, ascorbic acid.

2.     Organic salts: Phthalates, stearates, salicyliates, benzoates, bulyrates, 

                  gluconates, lactates, sorbates

3.     Substances containing Nitrogen: Hydrazine, Chloramines, Ureas

YEAST: Yeast, hydrolysis of proteins.

SLAUGHTERHOUSE EFFLUENTS: Blood, plasma, hemoglobin, gelatin, meat extract.

FISHERY Spray Dried BY PRODUCTS: Tail water of fish, pulp.

TANNING AGENTS: Vegetable and synthetic tannins, chromates.

CATALYSTS AND PIGMENTS: Organic and inorganic pigments, anilines.

EFFLUENTS: Wash waters, high BOD effluents.
